Weight Loss

After graduating high school; I looked in the mirror, and didn't like what I saw. I saw a unmotivated, overweight, and unhappy person. I decided it was time for a change. Throughout my wellness journey, I noticed myself becoming not only healthier, but also a much happier individual. I was again confident, motivated, and had energy to do things I enjoy. From mid 2020 to early 2021, I went from an unhappy 215 pounds to a proud 165 pounds. After seeing how small, consistent changes in my life can impact myself as well as others around me, I decided I wanted to help others achieve the same thing I did. Remember; your health is not just for you, its also for the family and friends that love and depend on you.

Injury

Dealing with injury is one of the most mentally challenging things I have ever done. In February of 2024, I was snowboarding at Sugar Mountain and took a hard fall, severely injuring my shoulder. After going to the emergency room, the doctor told me I would be unable to use my right arm for the next few months. I took this challenge head on and used this as a time to further my knowledge in injury prevention and rehabilitation. After 4 long weeks of hard self (no physical therapist) physiotherapy, I went back to the doctor for more x-rays. The doctor examined the x-rays and to both of our amazement, I was fully healed. The doctor said this was the fastest shoulder separation recovery he had seen in his 25 years of work. During your journey, you will have setbacks. Use these setbacks as an opportunity to learn, and come back better than before.

Stop making excuses. Start now!
